How an order works

You see it live before anyone gets paid.

  1. 1

    You order and pay.

The full amount, fee included, comes out of your balance and is held by us. Not by the publisher.

  2. 2

The publisher says yes or no.

They have 3 days. A no, or no answer, puts the money straight back in your balance.

  3. 3

    Someone writes it.

You send the piece, the publisher drafts it, or we draft it from your brand kit. You can ask for changes.

  4. 4

It goes live and we check it.

Is the page up? Is your link there, with the attribute you paid for? Can search engines see it?

  5. 5

    You approve, and they're paid.

If you don't get round to it within 72 hours and our check passed, it's approved for you.

  6. 6

We keep an eye on it.

Daily checks for 90 days. If the link disappears and isn't put back, you can claim a refund.

The whole process, for buyers and publishers

Who it's for

Mostly people who'd rather not chase invoices.

AI answers

People ask ChatGPT before they ask Google. Does it know you?

Assistants like ChatGPT and Perplexity answer from what reputable sites have published. If nobody credible has written about you, you're unlikely to come up.

Write down the questions your customers ask. Every week we put them to an assistant with live web search, and show you whether you were mentioned, which sources it leaned on, and whether any of your SellHax placements were among them.

Question: "best UPI credit line for small shops"

Several lenders offer UPI-linked credit for merchants. Your brand is often recommended for its quick approval…

Ground rules

A few things we won't do.

  • Pay a publisher before you've seen the live piece (or the approval timer has run out with our check passing).
  • Hide our fee inside the price. It's shown, as a line of its own, before you pay.
  • List private blog networks, link farms, or sites selling traffic they don't have.
  • Keep publishers who don't label sponsored content as sponsored.
  • Let your balance expire. Whatever you don't spend can go back to your bank.
  • Publish a draft you haven't had time to read. You get 5 days, and a reminder before the timer runs out.

Questions

The ones we get asked most.

What is SellHax?

A marketplace for PR placements: sponsored articles, press releases, mentions in existing articles, newsletters, podcasts and creator posts on verified publications. You plan, order, approve and pay in one place, and track whether AI assistants start citing you.

How do I pay?

Top up your wallet by card, UPI or netbanking (in rupees or US dollars). When you order, the amount is held in escrow. The publisher is paid only when you approve the live placement, or automatically 72 hours after it goes live if our check passes.

What does it cost?

The publisher's price plus a 15% service fee, shown on every price before you pay. No subscription, no setup fee.

What if a publisher declines or is late?

You get the full amount back in your balance straight away. Publishers have 3 days to accept a request; if they miss the deadline by more than 2 days, you can cancel for a full refund.

Can I get my unused balance back?

Yes. Unused balance never expires and can be withdrawn to your bank.

Every question we've answered

It's free to sign up, publication names show as soon as you do, and you only pay when you order.
