Sponsored content policy

1. Disclosure

Paid placements must be clearly labelled (for example "Sponsored" or "Partner content") where the law, platform rules or the publisher's own policy require it. In India this includes the ASCI guidelines; in the US, the FTC's endorsement guides.

2. Links

Links in paid placements use rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow" by default, in line with Google's guidance. Other link types are only used where the publisher offers them and the buyer opts in.

3. Not allowed

Illegal products or services, misleading health or financial claims, hate, harassment, adult content, malware or phishing, content that infringes others' rights, and undisclosed political advertising.

4. Sensitive topics

Gambling, crypto, lending and health content are allowed only where legal, where the publisher accepts them, and with any required disclaimers.
