Domain authority

A third-party score, on a scale of 1 to 100, that estimates how likely a site is to rank in search, based mostly on its backlinks.

Domain Authority (DA) is Moz's metric; Ahrefs' Domain Rating (DR) and Semrush's Authority Score are similar. None of them are used by Google, and all can be inflated with low-quality links. Use them alongside real traffic, topic fit and indexing when judging a site, never on their own.
