PRNEWS.IO alternatives: sponsored placement marketplaces compared (2026)
Updated 20 October 2026
Sponsored placement marketplaces look alike from the outside: a catalogue of sites, a price each, a checkout. The differences are in the fees, what happens to your money if a post never goes live, and whether the post is labelled. Here is what each says in its own terms, checked in October 2026.
01
What should you compare between marketplaces?
- Fees: a commission on deposits or withdrawals, a subscription, or a fee added to each order.
- Your money: is it held until the post is live, and can you get it back if it isn't?
- Visibility: can you see each site's name and price before you pay?
- Labelling: will the post be marked as sponsored, and what link type does it carry?
- Coverage: does it list sites in the countries you sell to?
02
PRNEWS.IO
A self-serve marketplace that says it lists over 105,000 outlets in 175 countries, with a large India catalogue. Prices are per placement. An optional PRO subscription (€100 a month or €1,000 a year) unlocks the full catalogue. Its refund policy allows refunds when publishing hasn't started; removal of a post after 90 days is covered only with a paid one-year guarantee. Its catalogue describes dofollow links; sponsored labelling isn't stated.
03
Collaborator
A marketplace of about 40,000 sites and Telegram channels. Its payment policy takes 10% when you add funds and 15% when you withdraw them, plus payment-system fees. Money for an order is frozen until the deal completes and returns to your balance if the deal is cancelled. Publishers choose dofollow, nofollow or sponsored for each link.
04
WhitePress
A marketplace plus SEO and digital PR services, covering 36 countries (India isn't among those listed). Prices are visible after logging in, with no contracts or retainers. Its terms say articles are marked by the publisher as sponsored content, and unfulfilled orders are refunded within 7 working days.
05
Adsy
A guest-post marketplace focused on the US, Europe, the UAE and Australia. You need an account to see sites. The minimum top-up is 25 USD, credits expire after 180 days, and its terms say purchases are final and non-refundable once the service starts.
06
Getfluence and PressWhizz
- Getfluence: pay per placement, no subscription; a commission is added to the publisher's price. Its terms say deposits can't be refunded, and placements removed within 12 months are replaced.
- PressWhizz: a one-time price per link, deposits withdrawable, a full refund (as credit by default) if an order can't be fulfilled, and a 12-month guarantee. Link attributes are set by the publisher.

Which marketplaces hold your money until the post is live?
Collaborator freezes order funds until the deal completes, and iCopify says publishers are paid only after live delivery is verified. The others describe refunds or guarantees rather than holding payment. SellHax holds your payment until the piece is live and you approve it, refunds you in full if a publisher declines or misses the deadline, shows every price with one service fee as its own line, and defaults paid links to rel="sponsored". SellHax is newer, so its catalogue is smaller than the largest marketplaces'.
